Desde hace más de dos siglos, vivimos en una época donde la tecnología nos lleva a enfocarnos en procesos cada vez más amplios y abstractos. Habitamos en grandes ciudades, concurrimos a espectáculos masivos y nos comunicamos por redes sociales de alcance mundial. La obra de Gabriela Bardón y Juliana Montani nos propone invertir esa tendencia y redescubrir aquellas pequeñas cosas que, auqnue desapercibidas, son esenciales para que cada cosa que nos rodea sea tal como es.

Como nuestra circulación, los elementos que componen esta muestra son atemporales, íntimos, indispensables, maravillosos. El cambio vertiginoso es solo aparente, poco de lo realmente esencial ha cambiado. Lo pequeño nos presenta la misma posibilidad de maravilla que lo inmenso.

For over two centuries, we have lived in an era where technology leads us to focus on processes that are increasingly broad and abstract. We live in large cities, we attend massive shows and we communicate through global social networks. the work of Gabriela Bardón and Juliana Montani proposes to revert that tendency and rediscover those small things that, though imperceptible, are essential so that everything around us is just as it is.

Just like our circulation, the elements that make up this exhibition are timeless, intimate, indispensable and awe-inspiring. The frenzied change and the vertigo are merely apparent, little of what is essential has ever changed. The small things present us with the same possibilities for wonder as the immense.
